The piston O-ring  is used for pressure balance and its diameter is the same as that of the valve seat to compensate such impact on the set pressure as the additional variable backpressure and discharge backpressure are 10% higher than the set pressure The effective flow areas are 47.74 and 70.96mm2 (0.074 and 0.1 1in2). The standard structural materials are: carbon steel for body: 316 stainless steel for seat, disc, disc seat and guide sleeve: 17-7PH for spring Other optional structural materials are available forspecial applications or corrosive fluids.
